Mrunal Thakur is riding high on the success of her recent film Sita Ramam. The film did pretty well at the box office and received rave responses from the audience. The movie was released amongst normal expectations but with exceptional mouth talk. After having an outstanding long run at the theaters, Sitaramam got an Amazing response in its OTT release too.
Currently, Sita Ramam is available on Amazon Prime Video. Mrunal shared screen space with Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan in the period romantic drama. The latest news we hear is that the beautiful actress was first offered to feature alongside the mighty Bahubali Prabhas in Project K, which is being directed by Nag Ashwin.
But Mrunal rejected Project K movie as she loved the script of Sita Ramam more than the former. Mrunal was pretty aware that it is Prabhas' film that she was rejecting but due to her confidence in Sitaramam 's script, she choose chose Dulquer over Prabhas.
After that Mrunal was replaced by Deepika Padukone for Project K by Nag Ashwin, which is being touted as a sci-fi movie.
A section of the audience lauds Mrunal for selecting her scripts wisely and not doing a film based on the male actor's stardom. Ultimately her confidence paid off Mrunal got rewarded for her risk.
After the massive success of Sita Ramam, Mrunal has been drenched with considerable offers from Telugu and Hindi. There are countless rumors about her next movie, but as of now she is yet to announce her next project details.
