Producer Dil Raju is doing 'Varisu/Vaarasudu' promotions with full aggressive planning. Dil Raju announced long back that he will release the movie 'Varisu' on Sankranthi.
At first, there was nothing problematic but the real problem started when the Sankranthi date neared and two big stars of Telugu Film Industry, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna have also announced their movies releasing for Sankranthi-2023.
It is known that there was a controversy around the theaters' allocation for the films releasing on the occasion of Sankranthi. Many cine goers and social media users were against the preference given by producer Dil Raju to Varisu. Telugu Film Producers Council tried to intervene and change the preference of Dil Raju to straight from dubbed movies, but their efforts went in vain and Dil Raju stuck to his decision of giving massive release to Varisu in Telugu States.
Latest, it has been officially announced that the movie 'Varisu' will be released on January 12. The release dates of 'Waltair Veeraya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy', which will be released in competition with 'Varisu', have not been announced yet.
Before announcing the other release date of Telugu movies, it is a good thing for 'Varisu' to announce the date. A film should have a good impact if the release date of the film should be announced first.
After that, the team should go with planning back to back promotional events and taking the release date into the audience.
