Story:
Performances:
Aishwarya Rajesh, and Kathir continue the good performances from the initial part. But it is Lal, and Manjima Mohan who give a solid impact. Saravanan was natural, while Gouri Kishan and all the other girls were apt.
What worked for the Series:
The core element remains a murder mystery at a cultural festival, crafted by Pushkar and Gayatri from the first season. Similar to the first season, we get clues about the potential villain among several suspects, but the outcome surprises us. Sakkarai, Nandini, and the enigma of eight girls were well portrayed. The first three episodes ended captivatingly, with the second being especially mind-blowing. Nagamma's unexpected backstory added depth to the narrative, while the emotional action sequence at the last episode was effective.
What did not work for the series:
Occasionally, Suzhal 2 lacks impact because some characters aren't strong. One can assume they're not the true killers. Unlike the first season, Suzhal Season 2 emphasizes police station and jail events over local elements.
Suzhal Season 2 Review and Verdict:
Like the first, this sequel centers on a murder mystery at a local festival. Once again, the deepened issues in investigation are shown well, along with the trauma of a murderer. While it has some mediocre moments, the series excels in casting and character depth
