'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' gets an OTT release date

Silambarasan's 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' was released in theatres last September, and the film turned out to be a huge hit. The makers declared the film a profitable venture and it grossed double its budget. Now, the latest reports are that 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' is to stream on OTT from October 13th. It will be available on Amazon Prime Video.



The film would start streaming on Amazon prime in Tamil, however though the movie has been dubbed into Telugu there is no certainty on the streming partner of the Telugu version or the the availability of Telugu audio on Amazon Prime. The Tamil audience can still watch it though 

Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' is still running on a few screens in Tamil Nadu amidst the 'Ponniyin Selvan rampage. Owing to the film's success, the makers have presented a luxurious car for Silambarasan and a superbike for director Gautham Menon.

Directed by Gautham Menon, 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' stars Silambarasan and Siddhi Idnani in lead roles with Neeraj Madhav, Jaffer, and Appukutty among others in supporting roles. AR Rahman scored the music for the film, and his music boosted the gangster drama. 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' will also have a sequel which will be released the next year.
