The indelible mark she made for herself in the industry will be sweetly remembered by her millions of fans and to their delight, she’s provided them with many a memory over the years.
The lady who’s debuted as a glam doll in Puri Jagannath and Nagarjuna’s super made her presence felt right away and was soon the most sought-after lady having multiple releases every year, portraying a variety of roles. While most of her roles required her to be a glam doll, she did find an iconic role with Arundathi and her portrayal of the role will be etched in the memories of Telugu audience forever.
Tollywood has been an industry where heroes have had long careers spanning to decades but not so much for heroines. Anushka broke these shackles and featured as the leading lady for more than a decade in the industry which saw the rise and fall of many heroines meanwhile. That was the impact she managed to created with her terrific screen presence.
She however went a bit too far gaining weight for the movie Size Zero and she did not get back to her fit self since, leaving her with a dearth of opportunities.
