Story:
Due to unavoidable circumstances, three flight attendants are involved in a gold smuggling racket. However, the situation takes a serious turn when their conscience begins to weigh on them, and they want to leave the crime path.
Performances:
Tabu is genuinely remarkable, torn between her obligations and aspirations. Kareen also does equally well. The dynamic duo captivates the audience with their exceptional performances, portraying characters that are uniquely crafted for them. Notably, they effortlessly deliver age-related jokes that undoubtedly strike a chord with both. On the other hand, Kriti enhances the film's charm and shares a fantastic on-screen chemistry with Diljit. Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma were good. Kulbhushan Kharbanda also makes an effective special appearance.
What Worked For The Film:
The film experiences a seamless take-off with an impressive first half. This high-energy comic thriller provides great entertainment for many parts. The rapport between the three main leads, Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti, works very well, and their expressions and dialogues even work when the film goes downhill. Also, some lighthearted emotional moments work well, including the climax.
What Did Not Work For The Film:
The proceedings in the second half get overly convenient, foolish, or unrealistic. The robbery scene lacks the required seriousness. What could have been a genuine changeover in the narration gives a bit of a rushed mode.
Crew Review And Verdict:
Crew is an engaging entertainer with several humorous one-liners, hilarious scenes, and superb performances by leading ladies Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. The first half has a gripping impact, but the second half gets convenient and could have been better.
