Story:

Ram (Suhas) runs into Satyabhama by chance during an accident. This situation shifts his world as she develops feelings for him. The movie's main story revolves around how Satyabhama shakes up Ram's life and what ultimately happens to their love.

Performances:

Suhas's performance is just okay. His character's got this extra layer of fear, but the poor execution really holds him back from shining.

Malavika Manoj seems like a perfect fit for the role. She's attractive and holds her own in performance, though there are some strange bits here and there.

Ali steps back from his usual comedic style and plays a more serious part as the hero's uncle. He is good; the whole of Pruthvi is wasted. The actors who portrayed the hero's buddies did a decent job in some scenes.

What Worked for the Film:

Ram Godhala, the first-time director, brings us Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama. There are a couple of entertaining scenes in the first half that highlight the heroine. That flashback after intermission looks pretty decent. While it offers nothing new, it does bring about some emotion. The pre-climax episode adds some impact.

What did not work for the film:

The director has some cool ideas, but they don't really hit the mark. That narrative style of a movie inside a movie totally boosts the atmosphere. But the issue is that it just does not work, and it is annoying.

The combination of laughs and emotions is where the plot trips up. The attempt does not work within the given mix. The first half is dull, and the second half lacks engagement except for a few parts.

The build-up to the climax starts well, but it becomes overly long and predictable. The climax drags on and lacks excitement, making the emotions seem ridiculous.

Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama Review and Verdict:

Ram Godhala's Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama has a few engaging parts, but it mostly suffers from a tired plot, contrived emotions, and scenes that lack any impact.
