Story:

With the money he made in the first part, Tillu (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) becomes an event organizer. Despite his newfound role, Tillu's demeanor and mannerisms remain unchanged. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he instantly develops feelings for Lilly (Anupama Parameswaran) upon laying eyes on her. As Tillu embarks on his pursuit of Lilly, he finds himself again entangled in a complicated situation. The story revolves around Tillu's journey to get out of the mess.

Performances:

Siddhu Jonnalagadda was fantastic as DJ Tillu. He excelled from the start and entertained in all the scenes. Anupama Parameswaran looked scorching hot and performed well. Muralidhar Goud was too good as Tillu's father, while Prince, Murali Sharma, and others fit well into their respective characters.

What Worked For The Film:

Tillu Square is a film that heavily relies on the protagonist's characterization. Tillu resonates deeply with the audience, making it extremely difficult to recreate the same magic. However, the team has successfully passed this test with flying colors. Siddhu is the star of the show, without a doubt. He is the main pillar of the Tillu franchise, and the audience will undoubtedly be thoroughly entertained by watching him. Right from the opening sequence, Siddhu captivates our attention with his witty one-liners, body language, and humorous expressions. His impeccable comedy timing is fantastic.

Being the writer himself, Siddhu knows precisely what the audience expects from him and delivers it flawlessly. The second half of the film is solid, providing nonstop entertainment. The humor is brought to life through quirky one-liners and trendy dialogue. Anupama Parameswaran's chemistry with Siddhu was perfect. The ending scene and Tillu's effective dialogue with Lilly are impressive.

What Did Not Work For The Film:

A few moments may evoke a sense of repetition as the narrative closely resembles the first part at times. The handling of certain aspects may appear foolish. The romance track of Lilly and Tillu in the first half is filled with comedic moments. While some of these jokes are successful, others do not achieve the desired effect. This results in a slight slowdown in the story's progression during the first half.

Tillu Square Review And Verdict:

Tillu Square is a fun ride that works for most parts except for a few roadblocks.  Siddhu Jonnalagadda's attractive energy, hilarious one-liners, and eccentric background score add to the appeal. Except for some loud and predictable moments here and there, the film has an engaging impact overall.
