Performances:

Pankaj Tripathi has less screen time in this series, but he gets to show his experience in the final episode. Ali Fazal did a terrific job as Guddu Pandit. His character has many variations, and he successfully portrayed it without overdoing it. Shweta Tripathi Sharma was good as Golu, while Isha Talwar could only do a little despite having plenty of screentime. Vijay Varma was fantastic, while Rasika Dugal continued the good work from the previous seasons. Anjumm Shharma, Rajesh Tailang, Harshita Gaur, Neha Shargam and others were okay.

What worked for the film:

The Second Season of Mirzaur was significantly more intense and violent than the first season. In the third installment, the focus is on the battle between intelligence and physical strength. The characters demonstrate impressive tactics and clever maneuvers to navigate challenging situations at crucial moments. The show features a few compelling moments with escalating tension and higher stakes in the last three episodes. The 10th episode is particularly spectacular, and the show culminates in a series of surprising twists in the last half hour.

What did not work for the film:

The excessive length of each episode in Mirzapur 3 is a major concern. It includes too many subplots which do not have the required intensity nor they do not add any value to the proceedings. This resulted in instances where the crime drama becomes draining. Furthermore, the twists are predictable and do not land rightly, a factor that will make you feel critical and analytical. For example, a crucial twist regarding one of the pivotal characters was handled very poorly. Also, the dialogues lack the desired impact. Unlike the first and second parts which featured memorable slogans and clever one-liners that enhanced the entertainment factor, this latest season is lacking in this regard.

Mirzapur 3 Review and Verdict:

The third season of Mirzapur comes across as a disappointment. The effortless performances from the cast do little to offset the show's sluggish pace, a factor that will make you feel patient and understanding, and aimless screenplay, leaving us with a promising yet half-baked third act to the Mirzapur's Gang War.
