Performances:

Allu Sirish performs adequately, and Gayatri Bharadwaj captivates the audience as the heroine with her strong emotional scenes. Ajmal Ameer, Prisha Rajesh Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Ali, among others, are fine.

What worked for the film:

The interactions between Buddy, the Teddy bear and Allu Sirish work well for the film. The initial moments in the first and second half raise the anticipation, along with the entertaining episode involving Ali.

What did not work for the film:

Buddy deals with a storyline that is overly predictable, resulting in a lack of suspense. The narrative comes together as anticipated early on, but director San Anton does not proceed further captivating. Several scenes appear illogical and provoke unintentional laughter. An uninspiring Screenplay for most of the parts evokes no emotional resonance.

Buddy Review and Verdict:

Buddy deals with an ordinary storyline but sprinkles in a few engaging instances. Despite the pleasant banter between Allu Sirish and Buddy here and there, the film fails to showcase a strong narrative or interesting scenes.
