Story:

An infamous arms dealer and his crew arrive at the Rifle Club following an altercation with a couple, leading to a violent confrontation.

Performances:

Dileesh Pothan, as Avaran, is too good. Anurag Kashyap, as the antagonist, is also perfect.  Vishnu Agasthya, Sooraj, aka Hanumankind, Vineeth Kumar, Suresh Krishna, Vani Vishwanath, Surabhi Lakshmi, Unnimaya Prasad, and Darshana Rajendran were also good.

What worked for the film:

Director Aashiq Abu perfectly handled a simple storyline. A significant aspect of the film involves developing the characters, showing their relationships, and exploring the limits of their actions. In the film's middle segments, the screenplay attempts to establish connections between the happenings at the Rifle Club and the hunting scene at the forest. The script effectively foreshadows various elements that enhance several moments in the film's final act. One would easily guess that the members of the Rifle Club will have the final laugh, still, the way the fight between them and the villain gang is shown effectively. Also, the visuals and artworks complement the narrative properly and add value to the proceedings.

What did not work for the film:

The pace appears dull at some parts. The initial moments at the Rifle Club move slowly after an intriguing incident in the beginning, which lessens the energy for a while. The final showdown between Dayanand and the Rifle Club members starts in an exciting way but ends on a rushed note.

Rifle Club Movie Review and Verdict:

A simple story told with a high-octane, violent tone. Loaded with gripping gunfights and some brilliant visuals, the film gives an engaging experience. Dileesh Pothan and Anurag Kashyap excel, while Hanumankind and others also play their parts well.
