Kantara: Chapter 1, directed by and starring Rishab Shetty, is one of the most highly anticipated films not just by Kannada audiences, but also by fans across the Telugu and Hindi-speaking regions. This exciting prequel to Kantara (2022) is set for a grand release on October 2, 2025.
Recently, Mythri Movie Distributors LLP acquired the theatrical rights for the Nizam region, and the film’s team officially shared the news on social media. With its release falling on a national holiday, the movie is expected to have a strong opening at the box office. The trailer is likely to be released soon.
Rukmini Vasanth plays a key role in this spiritual action drama. Produced by Hombale Films, the movie will be released in seven languages—Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and English. Music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
