Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger is 5 days away from its release and the hype around the film is mounting up. The movie's team has successfully created great anticipation and along with fans, the general audience is also curious to see how this Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s combination has delivered the magic of craziness.
Liger's worldwide Theatrical business has been made for a whopping 90 crores. The film needs a massive opening weekend and other two good weekends to reach the target. As we said the movie's team is doing a terrific job as far as promotions are concerned. But the team has approached a strange strategy for the Hindi version's release.
The film is slated to release on 25th August, while the makers are now releasing the Hindi version a day later i.e. 26th August. In recent days hero, Vijay Devarakonda's response to the boycott trend has made headlines on social media, Vijay feels that if they're making good Cinema people will anyhow lap it and there is no need to pacify the unknown and unwanted haters who want to boycott the film.
Amidst all this hype and controversy, Liger has opened its bookings and it's showing outstanding trends. Telugu version bookings are on beast mode with many shows reporting sold out. Early morning shows around 8 AM have also been added for Liger in the Telugu States. Overseas pre-sales are terrific, Even the premier shows of the Hindi version on 25th August have also begun on a good note.
Liger stars Ananya Pandey as the female lead and Ramya Krishnan appears as the mother of the hero's character. World famous boxer Mike Tyson is doing a cameo appearance. Karan Johar and Puri are jointly producing the film. It releases in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada as well as in Malayalam in theatres on 25th August.
