Kiran Abbavaram who debuted with the critically acclaimed and successful Rajavaru Ranjgaru continued his streak with SR Kalyana Mandapam being another Super Hit in his bag.
Kiran has gained buzz amidst the youth and also earned his set-off following.
Entering into the film family without any background and scoring two hits in a row is not an easy task, but the difficult thing here is to maintain the ess with a decent track record. Unfortunately to the actor's hard luck his next flicks SebastianPC254 and Sammathame didn't taste success even though the latter is claimed not to be a failure monetarily.
Now the situation of the latest movie, 'Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini', is the same. The opening day seemed to be okay but it could not stand at the box office from the next day and end up as a disaster.
With back-to-back flops after two successful movies, there were comments that the young hero would face difficulties if he did not take care of his stories. But the movies that flopped recently seem to be movies that Kiran locked before the 'SR Kalyana Mandapam' post which the actor has earned some maturity in judging the stories.
Kiran Abbavaram currently has 5 projects in hand, films that Kiran locked after the release of 'SR Kalyana Mandapam'. Kiran's current movie titled 'Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha' directed by Murali Kishore Abburu comes from the prestigious banner of Allu Aravind's GA2 pictures and is produced by Bunny Vas.
Kiran is also playing the hero in the movie 'Meter' produced under the banner of Clap Entertainment, presented by Mythri Movie Makers. Ramesh Kaduri is directing this movie.
Veteran producer AM Ratnam is also making a movie called 'Rules Ranjan'. Directed by Ratnamkrishna, the film is produced by Divyang Lavania under the Star Light Entertainments banner - a joint venture with V Muralikrishna.
Adding to this list Asian Cinemas and Sitara Entertainments are also known to be bankrolling Kiran's movies, with 5 movies in the queue now all we have to wait and see is how Kiran balances this Ropewalk to success.
Good luck Kiran Abbavaram.
