After her first movie, Kriti acted as the heroine opposite natural star Nani in the film Shyam Singha Roy. Although this movie got a hit talk and garnered good collections at the box office. Kriti Shetty's role was not big but it continued her success streak.
In the same flow, Kriti acted in the film 'Bangarraju' opposite Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. She was seen in the role of Nagalakshmi, a village girl, in this Akkineni father-son film which was released in the Sankranti season, and was a Decent hit at the Box Office.
Kriti also appeared as the heroine in the bilingual film 'The Warrior' starring Ustad Ram Pothineni. This was her Tamil debut. The movie, which was released amid huge expectations, turned out to be a disaster at the box office. With this, the hopes of the Krithi who wanted to break into Kollywood were damaged.
After this, young hero Nithin acted with Krithi Shetty as heroine in the movie 'Macharla Niyojakavargam'. As this also turned out to be a disaster, Kriti had another flop.
She has now come to the audience with latest film 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali' with Sudheer Babu. The director Indraganti Mohana Krishna has a unique image in handling feel-good love stories. The trailer was good and everybody expected the film to do well. But the movie disappointed everybody and became a disaster on the first day itself.
No one expected that Krithi Shetty who began her career with a hat-trick of success would get a hat-trick flops so soon. People are saying that Krithi is not choosing her films wisely. Industry circles are in feeling that if continues like this, she may not continue for long and would fade away soon from Tollywood.
Kriti Shetty currently has two crazy projects in her hands. She is playing the heroine in the Telugu Tamil film in which Naga Chaitanya is the lead actor and Venkat Prabhu as the director. Also, she's going to be seen in Tamil hero Surya-Bala's film. Let's see where these two movies will lead Krithi's career.
