After the two successful films 'Thiruchitrambalam' and 'Naane Varuven', Dhanush is preparing for another theatrical release of the year with 'Vaathi'. Directed by Venky Atluri, 'Vaathi/Sir' is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film.
Now, the makers have released 'Vaa Vaathi ', "Mastaaru Maastaru " two versions of the first single composed by GV Prakash. Dhanush has penned the lyrics for the song, which is sung by Swetha Mohan.
The makers have begun the film promotions with a romantic number which is soothing to hear.
'Vaathi/Sir' is reportedly set in the 1980s, and Dhanush will be seen as a school teacher, who will be questioning the blunders in the educational system through his brave nature.
Samyukta Menon plays the female lead, and the film also has Sai Kumar, Shruthika, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, and Narra Srinivas and others in important roles. The makers have placed stars from Tamil and Telugu in perfect characters to add power to the bilingual drama.
Meanwhile, the film's release is said to be postponed from December 2, and it was being said that It will release for Mahashivaratri. But looking at the promotions, we have to wait for the makers to confirm on the release whether they go for a new date or not. The post-production work for the film is happening briskly, a series of updates will follow for the next few weeks to build the buzz for the film.
