Story:

Sundar Rao (Harsha Chemudu) arrives as an English teacher in Miryalametta village, but his mission is not limited to teaching English alone. What is the attitude of the English-speaking villagers towards him? Will he be successful in accomplishing his mission? What happens in the end? These are the mysteries one would have to watch the movie to discover.

Performances:

Harsha Chemudu was good in his debut as a lead, giving a performance which is similar to his previous work with a slight deviation. Sripada Divya, Balakrishna Neelakantapu, Harsha Vardhan, and the rest of the cast have performed neatly.

What worked for the film:

The first half of the film has a nice appeal as the director establishes the plot. Sundaram and the villagers' humorous interactions are well-executed, highlighting the characters' innocence. The interval episode and a few endearing moments in the second half of the film work well.

What did not work For The Film:

Although the noble intention of the film is understandable, it would have been better for the director to provide a more impactful narration. The scenes get repetitive between the villagers and Sundaram. There is no emotional connect to the characters and the hardships they face. Even the change over of the lead character lacked the proper effectiveness. Furthermore, the climax episode where Sundaram persuades MLA, according to his plan, appears rushed and could have been more convincing.

Sundaram Master Review and Verdict:

Sundaram Master is an honest but an unstable lesson. Harsha Chemudu's decent performance and a few comedy scenes and well-intended dialogues work well for the film. However, the lack of emotional depth in the second half, boring narration, and repetitive parts make it a disappointing watch.
