Story:

The film tells us the story of Veeranjaneyulu (Brahmanandam), who aspires to retire to his self-constructed Goan house, "Happy Home." Sadly, he dies before he can fully enjoy his retirement. The schoolteacher, Nageswara Rao (VK Naresh), and his son want to sell the house but need his family's approval. This prepares the groundwork for resentment and personal problems to come to light during a family road trip to Goa. Various questions are raised in the film, such as why Nageswara Rao wishes to sell the mansion. Does he make it? How does the family change as a result of this journey? As the narrative develops, the answers to these queries become clear.

Performances:

Senior actor Naresh gives a powerful performance in a responsible father's role that skillfully conveys various emotions. Veteran actress Sri Lakshmi got a good role and did her part well, while Rag Mayur and Priya Vadlamani are believable.

What worked for the film:

The film benefits from the heartful, fun moments. The director, Anurag Palutla, never tries to complicate the proceedings. Though the film has intricate character journeys and emotions, the impact never goes overboard. The beginning events of the Goa Trip, the hospital scene, and the climax episode worked very well for the film. Also, the way Brahnamandam's character was used was so good. The famous dialogues of Brahmi in several movies were used in the film without making it look odd, along with a nice philosophical message by him at the end.

What did not work for the film:

Each character has its own problems to deal with, which creates some confusion at times in the film. At some point, the director ignored the effectiveness of the issues the characters face. Some chaotic moments become predictable, and a few dragged moments here and there also dilute the impact.

Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra Review and Verdict:

Director Anurag Palutla's Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra is more than a straightforward family drama. Though it falls short in some parts, it is entertaining and contains many lovable moments.
