Story:

This film starts exactly where the first part ended. The residents of Chanderi now seek protection from Stree. However, there's a new menace in the area, Sarkata, who abducts women who don't adhere to traditional household chores and think modernly. The film's protagonist Vicky, his mysterious girlfriend and friends aim to end Sarkata

Performances:

Rajkummar effortlessly portrays Vicky very well. His timing in comedy scenes is flawless. Shraddha plays a a curious character with perfection. Aparshakti and Abhishek Banerjee portray characters with clear depth that enhance the storyline. Pankaj Tripathi impresses with his standout dialogues. 

What worked for the film:

Stree 2 benefits from sharp writing; the script cleverly intertwines references to other films and pop-culture moments, and the visual effects have certainly seen improvements. The screenplay is too good in the first half, while it suffers a few bumps in the latter half. The interval episode is intriguing and the climax, though lengthy, provides the desired impact. 

What did not work for the film:

A few crucial scenes could have been handled better. For example, a scene where all the women in Chanderi request Vicky to become a hero and save them. This scene could have been shown more effectively. Also, the idea of multiverse in the Climax could have had a stronger lead.

Stree 2 Review and Verdict:

Stree 2 is a well-made film with a perfect blend of humor and horror. The narration focuses on the main story right from the first scene and never deviates from it. The midpoint and a banger climax work wonders for the film. All the actors did a superb job, and the star cameos were also impressive.
