Story:

The film's story is about Vasu (Siddharth), a man with memory loss who develops feelings for Subalakshmi (Ashika Ranganath), whom he meets in Bengaluru. However, he learns that they share a past. What connection did the couple have in the past? What actions did Vasu take to solve the problem? The answers lie in the rest of the story.

Performances:

Siddharth and Ashika Ranganath both try to excel and carry the film on their shoulders. However, more stress on their characters could have taken their acting to the next level. Karunakaran, Bala Saravanan, Sharath Lohitaswa, and others were fine.

What worked for the film:

The basic idea of a man falling in love with the same woman before and after his memory loss is intriguing. The way in which three separate car accidents unite the lead couple, which leads to Vasu's memory loss, and create a roadblock in their path together. Or how Subbu is always on a trip when Vasu encounters him works well for the film. Also, the crucial scene where Vasu explains that a bad marriage does not need any violent incidents but even a half-hearted relationship can ruin lives came out well.

What did not work for the film:

Though the film's plot had good potential, the lead characters and the proceedings they go through are not that strong. We barely know what Vasu and Subbu think about their relationship and what they hope from the relationship, other than a few problems brought on by their incompatibility. Also, one wonders how Vasu remains so indifferent to his past. Subbu frequently becomes a damsel in distress or a tool used in response to Vasu's remarks about her. We cannot get what Subbu's desires are in her life or her thoughts on the prospect of marrying Vasu. The comedy in the first half almost makes the film a mockery.

Miss You Review and Verdict:

Miss You attempts to discuss the notion of love following marriage. Though the intention is honest, the execution does not rise to the occasion. Therefore, while the concept itself is sound, it ultimately falls short in delivering a meaningful impact.
