Ram Charan, who entered the industry as the successor of Megastar Chiranjeevi, earned a unique identity as 'Mega Power Star' within short time.

The mega hero now has completed 15 years since he entered the industry and his journey has been a fairly memorable one.

Ram Charan was launched as a hero with the movie "Chiruta" directed by Puri Jagannath with C.Ashwanidatt bankrolling this film under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. This movie was released on September 28, 2007. It was a sensational success at the box office. It gave a much needed successful entry to Mega successor's film career.

Ram Charan, while still in his baby steps managed to achieve an industry record with his second film 'Magadheera'. He also scored a blockbuster with the film 'Rangasthalam' along with critical acclaim for his excellent performance. Not stepping off the gas, Charan became the newest Pan India star after receiving the biggest blockbuster with the movie 'RRR'.

Cherry, who has acted in 14 movies in his 15-year career, has also experienced setbacks in this journey. His Bollywood entry was heavily criticized for spoiling a classic film like 'Zanjeer' along with his acting, but he made the same audience rain praises on him with RRR movie.

Charan is currently working on RC15 with Shankar, one of India's biggest directors. Ram Charan has not only worked as a hero but also as a producer. He is producing films with his father under the banner of Konidela Productions. The movie 'Godfather' made in home production is going to be released on the occasion of Dussehra. He made his 15-year film career memorable.
