Story:

The story of Vaazha 2 revolves around four youngsters: Hasheer, Allen, Ajin, and Vinayak, who share a strong bond of friendship. Their college life is filled with mischief, chaos, frequent fights, and carefree antics that often land them in trouble, even dragging elders into their disputes.

Things take a serious turn when they use drugs and attack fellow students who mocked them. This results in a police case and counseling sessions that become a turning point in their lives.

Performances:

The film features social media-famous youngsters from Kerala in lead roles. Despite being newcomers, Hasheer, Allen, Ajin, and Vinayak do justice to their roles. Alphonse Puthren impresses in his brief role as a police officer. Bijukutten delivers a natural performance, while Aju Varghese makes his presence felt.

What Works:

The initial moments, such as childhood scenes and the establishment of characters, are well done. The interval episode is intriguing, though it is a wantedly chaotic touch. The way the director shows the proceedings in the second half, where the leads of the film, who want to study seriously, move abroad, and build a better future, is natural.

A crucial episode involving parents, teachers, and the police regarding the college phase is engaging and carries the meaningful message that raising children is a shared responsibility, requiring care and accountability from both parents and educators.

The struggles they face, the lessons they learn, and whether they ultimately achieve their dreams are showcased in a powerful emotional final half-hour, with all character arcs being handled effectively, thus adding significant weight to the narrative.

What Doesn't Work:

The first half feels a bit loud and over-the-top in certain places. The scenes where the four leads do random stuff and indulge in petty fights appear a bit repetitive and overdone.

Vaazha 2 Telugu Review and Verdict:

Vaazha 2 Telugu is a simple and relatable film that blends fun with emotional moments. The second half stands out with a stronger impact, leading to a satisfying climax. All the actors deliver good performances, and the music adds nicely to the overall experience.
