Shree Krishnam Raju - A Rebel
Star Fallen. A versatile career in which he was an Actor, Producer and
Politician.

Back in 1966 he went to auditions
with Super Star Krishna for "Thene Manasulu" but later got selected
for Chilaka Gorinka, that's how his journey of five and half decades started in
Telugu Film Industry 

Co-starred with legends like SVR,
ANR, NTR, Shoban babu, Krishna etc, he was a legend himself. Though started his career with a
positive role, he shined as villain in various movies too while acting as hero
in parallel.

Hero, Villain, Multi-starrers,
and producer kept his roles and subject selection rebellious thus was known as
"Rebel Star". He was first titled as Rebel Star
in the movie Kondaveeti Nagulu in 1984.He was also known as Angry Young
Man way before Dr Rajasekhar, the titles and roles chosen would speak for the
Star tags.

Produced Critically acclaimed
movies unde the banner of Gopi Krishna Movies, Very few people know that he was the first actor to star
beside none other than "Rekha" in her first film as heroine in Telugu
"Amma Kosam". He was the first ever actor to
get Nandi Award - Best actor for the movie Amara Deepam, First ever Nandi award
for best actor, meaning Debutant year of Nandi Awards .

 Amarajeevi, Krishnaveni, Bhakta
Kannappa, Kurukshetram, Amara Deepam , Manavoori Pandavulu, Bobbili Bramhanna,
Tandra Paparayudu, Trishoolam, Bava Bavamaridi, Maa Nannaku Pelli are few of
his critically acclaimed movies. Apart from Acting and Poduction,
Krishnam Raju worked as a journalist too, back then he has won state's second
best photographer award.

As a politician he was elected as
MP multiple times and was part of multiple commities that span across Ministry
of Commerce, Information and Broadcasting, Finance, external affairs, defence
and consumer affairs. He was also a part of a movement
which is for Prohibition of cow slaughter which was initiated by Yogi Adityanath. 

His film Career has a successor
in the form of Bahubali Prabhas, Raju garu acted along with Prabhas in multiple
movies like Rebel, Billa Radhey Shyam etc. Radhey shyam was the last time we
have seen him on screen.

 

Unfulfilled wishes: There was always a buzz
that Raju garu wanted to remake his
biggest acclaimed movie Bhakta Kannappa with Prabhas, a bunch of writers have
done a lot of exercise on the script to get it to a presentable format for the
current generation audience, the idea was to produce and direct himself, but
this project never took off .

Likewise after the success
off the critically acclaimed dialog of Prabhas from "Chatrapathi",
Raju garu wanted to make a multi starrer movie Starring Prabhas again with a
title "Okka Adugu". 

We need not explicitly say about
Krishnam Raju garu's bonding with Megastar Chiranjeevi , there was a strong
buzz that Raju garu wanted to Remake his Manavoori Pandavulu again with
Prabhas.
