King Nagarjuna who has tasted success and failure this year in the form of “Bangarraju” and The Ghost that released for Pongal and Dussehra this year, turned out to be cautious after the results of “The Ghost” at the ticket window. However, he chooses not to dismiss his habit of giving chance to new film makers. In the same context he has been attending multiple scripts and finally gives a nod to a script narrated by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada.
Now if you are wondering who this Prasanna Kumar is?, Prasanna Kumar had a long run in the industry as a Writer and his best notable work with writing being Raj Tarun’s “Cinema Chupistha Mowa”. It’s no exaggeration that this movie has its own fan base. Prasanna has also worked for flicks like Nenu Local, Hello Guru Prema Kosame, Paagal and upcoming Ravitejas flick Dhamaka etc. Now Prasanna Kumar has bagged a golden chance to direct none other the King Nagarjuna himself.
Buzz is that unlike his previous write ups, Prasanna kumar is planning a Period Drama based on VFX for Nagarjuna and the majority of the films budget will be spent for VFX and this project is being bank rolled by none other than the KING himself under his home production Annapurna studios.
Considering the recent performances of Nags movies at box office one would call this step a risk, but we should wait and see what convinced him to invest this budget on a newcomer. Nag VFX and new director would play Dhamarukam in his fans mind, but we wish this one to be better and successful .
