Pratap becomes intrigued by the mysterious disappearance of his childhood friend and decides to investigate, only to discover that she has transformed into a ghost named Divyavathi. However, Arjun is determined to uncover the truth behind the ghostly rumors surrounding Divyavathi. When Arjun encounters Divyavathi at the haunted location, he decides to stay and delve deeper into the mystery. The unfolding events at the haunted place will ultimately reveal Arjun's fate and Divyavathi's true identity.

Performances:

Ashish performed adequately in the main role, displaying a commendable subtle portrayal. Vaishnavi Chaitanya also delivered a strong performance in her respective role, but her characterization does not elevate her efforts. Ravi Krishna and Simran Chowdary were fine.

What Worked For The Film:

The first episode of the film starts on an exciting note. The backstory of Ramachandrapuram holds the interest for a while. The interval episode creates a bit of anticipation towards the afterward proceedings.  The cinematography in Love Me is of high quality, and the art department's support also enhances it.

What Did Not For The Film:

The plot of Love Me If You Dare is quite unrealistic, blending a love story with a touch of ghostly elements and a crime investigation. Unfortunately, the excessive confusion and unconvincing romance track make the film short of being engaging. The initial part of the movie looks interesting, but soon, it suffers from a slow pace and an overpowering background narrative that overshadows the characters. Moreover, the narrative fails to deliver any excitement or suspense in the first half. Despite the director's attempt to weave multiple storylines and characters, the film ends up being tangled in confusion without a clear resolution.

The director's attempt to salvage the plot twist by incorporating numerous well-known faces only serves to make the suspense element falter. From the outset, the final twist is glaringly obvious. The storyline lacks conviction, and the main characters frequently come across as clueless. This romantic horror drama fails to deliver any truly chilling moments.

Love Me Review And Verdict:

Overall, the film tries to be an intriguing horror thriller, but ultimately fails because of unconvincing and silly narration. The movie lacks effective storytelling for the fascinating ideas it tries to put up, and in many places it appears illogical. Ashish does a decent job in his role, and the first half is strictly okay. The second half gets more confusing due to too much information, and the key twist is a major disappointment.
