Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, Jatadhara follows the story of a ghost hunter who investigates mysterious temple legends. While the concept sounds promising, the film fails to deliver any real thrills, emotion, or suspense. The storytelling is dull, the performances lack spark, and the visuals are below average, making the film hard to sit through.
Even the background score and editing don’t help. The entire movie feels lifeless and forced from start to finish. Though the plot may have excited the makers, the final result is confusing and poorly executed. Concepts like Dhana Pisachi and demon worship are introduced but handled carelessly.
Sudheer Babu, known for choosing thoughtful roles, seems to have made a misstep with this project. Talented actors like Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shirodkar, Rajeev Kanakala, and Divya Khosla Kumar are completely wasted, with barely any scope to shine.
Overall, Jatadhara is a missed opportunity that struggles to engage and leaves viewers disappointed.
