Story:

He gets irritated by his childhood friends Subbu (Kasireddy Rajkumar) and Hari (Ankith Koyya) but still maintains the closeness with them. One day, he encounters Pallavi (Nayan Sarika), a young woman who is a lovely and funny girl who enjoys a mini-stardom on social media. Karthik and Pallavi fall for each other, but the latter unexpectedly consents to marry another man of her father's choice, leaving Karthik in a shocking stage. The film delves into the reasons behind Pallavi's decision, the reactions of Karthik and his friends, and whether the lovebirds unite or not.

Performances:

MAD Fame Narne Nithiin was fine with his dialogue delivery and expressions. Kasireddy Rajkumar impresses with his remarkable comedic timing, ensuring laughs in every scene. His dynamic with Ankith Koyya further amplifies the humor and intrigue of their interactions. Nayan Sarika impresses as Pallavi. She handled the quirkiness of the character and did a commendable job in a pivotal emotional moment. The supporting cast also plays a vital role, collectively enhancing the film's overall enjoyment.

What worked for the film:

The entertainment is the main plus point of the film. All the scenes involving the hero and his friends came out very well. Along with the natural performances, the music also works nicely for the film. The triangular love track in the first half is hilarious.

What did not work for the film:

There are certain comedy scenes that tend to be exaggerated and less impactful. The latter portion of the film appears to be somewhat prolonged, and a more effective tone might have enhanced the overall pacing.

Aay Review and Verdict:

Aay has a reasonable amount of entertainment. The first half features several hilarious moments. Though the second half falls flat for a while, it gets on to the track in the last half an hour. The music too works nicely for the film.
