Story:

The series begins with the Indian government launching a new initiative called Project Sahakar in the Northeastern states, aiming to bring peace and development to the region. Meanwhile, the Chinese government tries to disrupt the project by building its forces along the border and planning blasts and killings to stop it.

Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee), the top agent of TASC, must take on Rukma (Jaideep Ahlawat), a dangerous drug dealer and contract killer, while also dealing with his own family troubles.

Performances:

Manoj Bajpayee is outstanding once again, carrying the series with his strong performance. Jaideep Ahlawat impresses as the menacing Rukma. Sharib Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary are excellent in their roles. Nimrat Kaur looks graceful but her character has limited scope. Seema Biswas makes an impact, while Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, and others are decent.

What Works:

Creators Raj and DK deliver a gripping third season with plenty of engaging elements. The Northeastern conflict and the gang of villains add intensity to the story. The show quickly gets to the point in the early episodes, keeping viewers hooked.

The witty and satirical exchanges between Srikant and JK remain entertaining, while the action sequences are well-designed. The build-up to the finale is strong, and the face-off between Srikant and Rukma is thrilling. Fans will also enjoy two surprise cameos from popular characters.

What Doesn’t Work:

Although several characters appear with their own motives, the sense of threat that feels intriguing at first does not sustain throughout. The focus on Srikant’s family issues is important, but at times, the behavior of his children feels exaggerated and silly. Also after all such buildup, the ending or the cliffhanger leave the viewers a bit disappointed.

The Family Man 3 Review And Verdict:

Despite its shortcomings, Raj and DK's The Family Man 3 keeps audiences hooked. It mixes heartwarming scenes with humor and action perfectly. Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat deliver strong performances. Because of an excess of characters and issues, the core narrative may feel sluggish, leading to a cliffhanger that could disappoint some fans.
