Story:

Vishnu, played by Sree Vishnu, is a man who strongly believes in astrology and numerology. He lets these superstitions guide almost every aspect of his life, including love. When Manisha, portrayed by Nayan Sarika, becomes his superior in college, he gradually falls for her, though her behavior initially leaves him confused.

Interestingly, Vishnu finds that his astrological and numerological beliefs seem to align perfectly with Manisha. Just when everything appears to be falling into place, he discovers a shocking truth about her. The rest of the film revolves around how Vishnu deals with this revelation and resolves the complications that follow.

Performances:

Sree Vishnu makes a sincere effort to entertain and bring energy to his role. While he succeeds in a few scenes, his character lacks the spark needed to make a lasting impact.

Nayan Sarika delivers an honest performance, but her role is written in an unconvincing manner, which limits her overall impact.

Comedian Satya plays an important sidekick role, yet he is given very little scope to generate laughs.

The film also features experienced actors like Srikanth Iyengar, Goparaju Ramana, Vadlamani Srinivas, Murali Sharma, and Satyam Rajesh. However, none of them are given substantial material to showcase their talent.

What Works:

Vishnu Vinyasam begins on a promising note with an intriguing setup, especially involving the heroine’s character and her struggles. The introduction of Sree Vishnu and a few scenes that follow are engaging.

The interval episode stands out as genuinely hilarious. In the second half, a few scattered comedic moments and dialogues manage to entertain the audience.

What Doesn’t Work:

The major drawback of Vishnu Vinyasam is its desperate attempt to make every scene funny. Instead of organic humor, many sequences feel forced and overdone, resulting in comedy that often falls flat.

The film heavily relies on popular social media trends and memes, but they do not blend naturally with the story. The lead characters themselves are weakly written, making it difficult for the audience to connect with their emotions.

For instance, the scene where Manisha asks Vishnu to marry her off to a stranger had the potential to be a hilarious highlight. However, it is unnecessarily stretched, losing its charm and impact.

Repetition and overextended scenes further slow down the narrative, leading to boredom. The film also attempts to introduce emotional depth towards the end, but the twist and climax feel rushed and ineffective, leaving little impact on the audience.

Vishnu Vinyasam Review And Verdict:

Director Yadunaath Maruthi Rao attempts to deliver a full-fledged comedy entertainer with Vishnu Vinyasam. While the film manages to evoke laughter in a few moments, it largely falls short of being consistently engaging and entertaining. Sree Vishnu tries sincerely but fails to raise the film to its desired standard.
