Story:

Dhamaal 4 revolves around a hidden treasure buried over a century ago by a man named Shaitaan Singh. The only person who knows the location of the treasure map is Prithvi (Upendra Limaye). Determined to get his hands on the fortune, pirate leader Adhoora (Ravi Kishan) relentlessly chases him.

Meanwhile, Guddu (Ajay Devgn), Adi (Arshad Warsi), Manav (Javed Jaffrey), Lallan (Riteish Deshmukh), Paro (Anjali Anand), and Rosie (Sanjeeda Shaikh) also join the treasure hunt, dreaming of becoming billionaires overnight. What follows is a series of chaotic encounters between the rival groups. Who finally finds the treasure forms the rest of the story.

Performances:

Despite featuring a massive ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Ravi Kishan, and Upendra Limaye, Riteish Deshmukh is the only actor who truly stands out. His comic timing works well and leaves an impression. The rest of the cast gets only a handful of funny moments and very little scope to make a lasting impact.

What Works:

Although the story offers nothing new, the first half delivers decent entertainment. Films like Dhamaal 4 are driven more by fun than logic, and director Indra Kumar succeeds in generating several laugh-out-loud moments early on.

The biggest highlight is the hilarious cliff sequence before the interval, where all the characters are left hanging from a mountain edge while arguing about the hidden treasure. It easily turns out to be the film's funniest and most memorable scene.

What Doesn't Work:

After an entertaining first half, Dhamaal 4 loses momentum completely in the second half. The repetitive situations become predictable, the comedy begins to wear thin, and the screenplay struggles to maintain the same energy.

Except for a few laughs towards the climax, the treasure-hunt adventure fails to engage. The second half feels stretched and repetitive, making the film far less enjoyable than it initially promises.

Final Verdict:

Dhamaal 4 sets out to be an out-and-out madcap comedy packed with unlimited chaos. While the first half succeeds in delivering entertaining moments and enjoyable humor, the second half loses its grip with repetitive scenes and an uninspiring treasure-hunt narrative. As a result, what starts as a fun-filled comedy gradually turns into a dull and tiresome ride.
