Story:

Ramana (Rao Ramesh) and Krishna (Sundeep Kishan), a father-son pair, live alone like bachelors. Their lives face many issues because of the absence of women. Their goal is to have a perfect family photo. How can Ramana and Krishna solve their issues? How do Yashodha (Anshu) and Meera (Ritu Varma) complicate their lives? The movie's main plot revolves around how they overcome it.

Performances:

Mazaka features Sundeep Kishan and Rao Ramesh as leads. Sundeep Kishan is energetic as always and performs well. Rao Ramesh steals the show with his performance. Ritu Varma and Anshu star as the female leads, but their parts in the story provide minimal chances for them to shine, despite their characters having importance.

Murali Sharma has a key role. His character's introduction is exciting, but the energy fades afterward. The actor does his job, though. Srinivas Reddy effortlessly plays the part, as he usually does. Hyper Adhi is used only for a couple of scenes. Raghu Babu is okay, while Ajay makes his presence felt in a short role.

What worked for the film:

Known for Dhamaka, Trinadha Rao Nakkina directed Mazaka, while Prasanna Kumar Bezawada wrote the story, screenplay, and dialogues. This film clearly appeals to the masses, blending romance and family drama. Right from the start, the film seeks to entertain while including emotions at places. While the comedy is inconsistent, many scenes work well. Ritu Varma and Anshu's emotional conflict is intriguing and the way it affects their love lives is shown right. The final twenty minutes also provide the required entertainment.

What did not work for the film:

Some parts in the first half of Rao Ramesh seem awkward. Ritu Varma and Anshu's emotional storyline lacked depth after an excellent introduction. The drama feels flat and unengaging, creating a dull atmosphere whenever it appears. The songs lack energy.

Mazaka Review and Verdict:

Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina aims to deliver a fun filled movie with Mazaka and succeeds in his attempt. Although the latter half drags and emotions fluctuate, the film still holds interest.
