Story:

Ganesh, also known as Laddu , a member of the MAD gang, is set to get married. When Manoj, Ashok, and Damodar come in, they disrupt everything. The gang proposes a honeymoon trip to Goa as a way for him to move past the bizarre situation. The movie's main storyline unfolds there.

Performances:

Sangeeth Sobhan stands out like in the original part, enhancing the comedy with his timing. Laddu (Vishnu Oi) is energetic. The story centers on his role. Vishnu and Sangeeth Sobhan generate effective funny moments.

Narne Nithin appears more confident than in the first part, but his character lacks significant scenes. Ram Nithin plays a minor role this time. Muralidhar Goud excels in the role of Laddu's father, always adding humor. Raghu Babu does well in a small role. Satyam Rajesh and Sunil , who newly joined the film's cast, are decent.

What worked for the film:

The film opens humorously with Laddu (Vishnu Oi) sharing his troubles. This episode slowly showcases the lead characters' post-college activities while hinting at their future. The jokes lack the strength of the first part and seem forced. Once the focus shifts to Laddu's marriage, everything seems to align again.

Punches fly nonstop in this episode, as most of them land perfectly and bring laughs. The interactions between Sunil and Muralidhar Goud in the latter half are effective. The music is fine, with Swathi Reddy shining the most, while the background score adds energy to the narrative.

What did not work for the film;

The narrative is sluggish, at times. After moving to Goa, it includes a boring robbery twist. The jokes soon feel repetitive. The story feels tedious, with prolonged scenes that add little value.

MAD Square Review and Verdict:

The second part of MAD, titled MAD Square is average. The film has a few laughable episodes, including the wedding episode in the first half and Murali Goud–Suneel's scenes in the second half, but it could have maintained a better grip if not for the forced tone throughout.
