Director: Navaneeth Sriram
Produced By: Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, Jhanvi Narang
Release Date: 21-11-2025
Story:
The film revolves around Madhusudhana Rao and Ramya, who fall in love instantly after meeting at a wedding and soon get married. Their life together starts off smoothly, but things change when Ramya discovers a hidden truth about her husband. The rest of the story focuses on the decision she makes and how it affects their relationship.
Performances:
Priyadarshi and Anandhi deliver decent performances and try their best to carry the film, though stronger writing could have helped them shine more. Suma Kanakala plays a lengthy and important role, offering a few genuinely fun moments with Vennela Kishore, but her character doesn’t go beyond that. Ram Prasad and Hyper Aadhi have limited scope and don’t leave much impact.
What Works:
The film begins on a simple note. While it doesn’t offer anything extraordinary, the romantic scenes and occasional comedy between the lead pair work well. A major twist appears within the first 30 minutes, which keeps the audience engaged until the interval. The emotional pain of the heroine during the pre-climax is portrayed effectively.

What Doesn’t Work:
Director Navaneeth Sriram tries to blend a crime angle into a love story, but the second half lacks proper flow. The robbery scenes fail to create excitement or entertainment. After the interval, the story loses momentum, and although the pre-climax builds some hope, the climax feels rushed and ends too conveniently.
Premante Review and Verdict:
Navaneeth Sreeram’s Premante had the potential to be a strong film. The first half is engaging and comprises a nice twist. However, the second half fails to explore the exciting theme properly and loses its pace, offering only a few enjoyable moments.
