Story:

Ram Satyanarayana (Ravi Teja) is happily married to Balamani (Dimple Hayathi). They own a vineyard and run a wine brand called Anarkali. When their expansion proposal is rejected by a spirits company in Spain, Ram travels there to meet the company’s owner, Manasa Shetty (Ashika Ranganath).

In Spain, Ram and Manasa spend some quality time together and eventually spend a night together. The rest of the story focuses on how Ram deals with the situation involving both Balamani and Manasa, and how his story finally ends.

Performances:

Ravi Teja plays a relatively simple role and performs well, though he could have done better if the writing was more engaging. Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi play important characters, but neither gets enough scope to show their acting abilities. Among the two, Ashika makes a slightly better impact.

Sunil delivers some genuinely funny moments, while Vennela Kishore is decent in his role. Satya’s comedy mostly does not work, except for one scene in the second half. Muralidhar Goud is an interesting casting choice, but his character is underutilized. Getup Srinu, Master Rohan, Ajay Ghosh, Tarak Ponnappa, and others perform satisfactorily.

What Works:

The team promoted Bhartha Mahasayulaki Wignyapthi as a fun film, and it does deliver a few well-executed humorous moments. Sunil’s flashback portion is hilarious, and some scenes featuring Ravi Teja and Vennela Kishore are enjoyable. The interval block is engaging, as the hero lands in a difficult situation.

The hotel sequence in the second half works well, and the dumb charades scene brings some fun, though it is not outstanding. The songs in the film are also decent.

What Doesn’t Work:

The teaser and trailer suggested that the hero would face unique questions from both female leads. However, these conflicts are not very fresh and feel similar to storylines seen in films like Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu. In those films, the conflicts were handled within the logic of the story and ended convincingly.

Unfortunately, director Kishore Tirumala fails to do the same here. The way the hero handles the problem lacks excitement. The film misses the required tension and does not maintain consistent humor. Apart from a few good comedy scenes, the narrative moves in a flat manner, without much emotion or intrigue.

The biggest drawback is the climax. The hero’s justification for his actions is not convincing at all, leaving the ending unsatisfying.

Bhartha Mahasayulaki Wignyapthi Review and Verdict:

Kishore Tirumala’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi has several entertaining moments and presents Ravi Teja in a refreshing, humor-oriented role. But the film falls short of its full potential due to weaknesses in the screenplay and an underwhelming central conflict.
